Karelian Isthmus. This is a special land where prehistoric, chtonical, alien to human kind nature are inextricably intertwined with the severe, purely human cataclysms of modern history. The land of the cleanest lakes, centuries-old thickets and alluring swamps, where thousands of human souls have found their final rest. All this was reflected in the debut album of the Karelian project Kuolemajärvi, whose raw atmospheric and perhaps a bit naive black metal captures from the first notes and does not let go until the end.

The fifth composition uses a poem by famous Russian singer-songwriter Vladimir Vysotsky.

The album is available on all digital platforms and published in a strictly limited physical format: a CD in a laminated mini-vinyl style envelope with an inner envelope of black designer paper. The total run - 97 hand numbered copies.

Карельский перешеек. Это особая земля, где первобытная природа и чуждая человеку хтонь неразрывно переплетены с суровыми, сугубо человеческими катаклизмами новейшей истории. Край чистейших озёр, вековых чащ и манящих болот, где нашли своё успокоение десятки тысяч человеческих душ. Всё это нашло своё отражение в дебютном альбоме карельского проекта Kuolemajärvi, чей сырой атмосферный и, возможно, немного наивный black metal захватывает с первых нот и не отпускает до конца.

В пятой композиции использовано стихотворение Владимира Высоцкого.

Релиз доступен на всех цифровых площадках и издан в строго лимитированном физическом формате: компакт-диск в ламинированном конверте формата мини-винил с внутренним конвертом из чёрной дизайнерской бумаги. Тираж – 97 вручную пронумерованных копий.
