There are musical groups for which it is necessary to mature. And there are albums that need to mature. Four years after the release of the last full-length album, bypassing a series of collaborations and experiments with like-minded Patimat Khripa, Vintersolverv and The Noktulians, Majdanek Waltz returns with a new album. The album, the songs for which were composed about ten years ago, during the classical works of the project, has found its final form now: verified, very personal, chamber. The musicians left behind noise landscapes and experiments with sound, presenting an emotional, almost completely acoustic sound canvas, again recalling the reason why they were once called "the best group of Russian dark folk."

Nineteen people took part in the recording of the album, among others, Andrzej Zakharishchev von Brausch (Obermaneken), Alexander Ionov (Fire, Region-77), Alexey and Elena Sheptunovs (Moon Far Away).
Mastering by Jhonnie Kratong (Romowe Rikoito, Kratong).

The album was published in three formats: a standard CD, a limited-edition cassette in a cardboard box and a collector's two-disc edition in a mini-vinyl envelope, supplemented by the single "Your Traits" ("Твои Черты") and a set of four postcards.

Есть музыкальные коллективы, для которых необходимо созреть. И есть альбомы, которым необходимо вызреть. Спустя четыре года после выхода последнего полноформатного альбома, минуя череду коллабораций и экспериментов с единомышленниками Patimat Khripa, Vintersolverv и The Noktulians, Majdanek Waltz возвращается с новым альбомом. Альбом, песни для которого были сочинены лет десять назад, во времена классических работ проекта, обрёл свою окончательную форму сейчас: выверенную, очень личную, камерную. Музыканты оставили позади шумовые ландшафты и эксперименты со звуком, представив эмоциональное, почти полностью акустическое звуковое полотно, вновь напомнив о том, за что в своё время были названы "лучшей группой отечественного дарк фолка".

В записи альбома принимало участие 19 человек, в числе прочих Анжей Захарищев фон Брауш (Оберманекен), Александр Ионов (Огонь, Регион-77), Алексей и Елена Шептуновы (Moon Far Away).
Мастеринг выполнен Jhonnie Kratong (Romowe Rikoito, Kratong).

Альбом издан в трёх форматах: стандартный компакт-диск, лимитированная кассета в картонной упаковке и коллекционное двухдисковое издание в конверте формата минивинил, дополненное синглом "Твои Черты" и набором из четырёх почтовых открыток.

A play so beautifully dark that it makes me want to cuddle up into a grainy void of cozy despair and regret. Regret that I missed out on the tape, which I would have lovingly played in isolation until we both degraded and withered away as speckles of ash, following the fate of all things living. The atmosphere feels somewhat reminiscent of what I felt while watching "Ёжик в тумане"... mboyo
